Samsung has begun rolling out the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update for their devices. Here are the list:
Android Marshmallow offers improvements such as granular permissions, native fingerprint reader support, Google Now on Tap, Doze Mode and much more.
The update brings security patches from the monthly SMR (Security Maintenance Release) and new features.
Users can also manually check their phone settings to see if the update is already ready. For those who wants to manually check the settings, all they would need to do is go to Settings > About Phone > System Updates > Check for updates.
For those whose updates are already available, make sure to have a secure WiFi connection, and to make sure that their phones are sufficiently charged so that they won't encounter any problems with updating to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
